Sei La Mia Favola
SOLD
Sei la mia Favola is a tender and poetic original sculpture by Andrea Roggi, measuring 19" x 28". A finely wrought tree rises from a textured, spherical form, its delicate branches spreading outward with a sense of grace and quiet movement. Emerging from the globe, the tree appears almost human in posture, suggesting connection, growth and emotional depth. The softly patinated bronze surface, enriched with turquoise and earthy tones, creates a feeling of timelessness, while the open sphere below hints at vulnerability and the nurturing space from which life and imagination grow. The title, translating to You Are My Fairytale, reinforces the sculpture’s romantic and contemplative spirit, inviting the viewer to reflect on love, storytelling and the beauty found in shared journeys.
Andrea Roggi was born in Castiglion Fiorentino in Tuscany, a landscape steeped in artistic heritage. His creative path was profoundly shaped by a formative visit to Florence’s Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, where Masaccio’s The Trinity awakened his fascination with balance, depth and harmony. He went on to train under the respected sculptor Enzo Scatragli, developing a strong technical foundation.
In 1991, Roggi established his own studio and foundry, allowing him to oversee every stage of his practice, from conception to casting and patination. Working in bronze through the traditional lost wax process, he blends classical craftsmanship with a distinctive contemporary sensibility. Alongside his sculptural career, Roggi is deeply committed to education and cultural exchange, founding the Art for Youth movement and the Parco della Creatività. His work is held in collections worldwide and exhibited internationally, reflecting a career devoted to beauty, meaning and human connection.
