Artwork Description:

Sei il Mio Destino is a poetic and deeply symbolic original sculpture by Andrea Roggi, measuring 22" x 29". A finely detailed tree rises gracefully from a textured bronze sphere, its exposed roots cascading into an open interior as if suspended in time. The branches extend outward with an elegant lightness, each leaf delicately formed, creating a sense of quiet motion and balance. Subtle blue and turquoise patination washes across the surface, catching the light and evoking themes of sky, water and infinity. The spherical form suggests the world itself, while the tree embodies destiny, growth and the invisible bonds that shape our lives.

Andrea Roggi was born in Castiglion Fiorentino in the heart of Tuscany, where art, history and landscape are inseparable. His artistic journey took a defining turn after encountering Masaccio’s The Trinity in Florence, an experience that led him to study sculpture under the guidance of the esteemed Enzo Scatragli. In 1991, Roggi established his own studio and foundry, allowing him complete control over every stage of the sculptural process.

Working exclusively in bronze using the traditional lost wax casting method, Roggi fuses classical craftsmanship with a distinctive contemporary language. His work is celebrated for its emotional depth, refined detail and lyrical symbolism. Beyond his studio practice, Roggi is highly regarded for his cultural contributions, including the Art for Youth movement and the creation of the Parco della Creatività. His sculptures are held in international collections and exhibited worldwide, standing as enduring expressions of love, destiny and human connection.
