Il Mio Mondo D Amore
SOLD
Il Mio Mondo D Amore is a lyrical and intimate original sculpture by Andrea Roggi, measuring 19" x 28". A delicately formed tree rises from a textured bronze sphere, its roots revealed and suspended within an open cavity, suggesting both vulnerability and strength. The branches unfurl with quiet elegance, each leaf carefully articulated, creating a sense of movement and breath. Soft blue and verdigris patination flows across the surface, evoking sky, water and memory, while a small golden element at the heart of the form draws the eye inward, symbolising love as the centre of one’s world. The balance between solidity and openness gives the sculpture a contemplative presence, inviting reflection on connection, growth and emotional grounding.
Andrea Roggi was born in Castiglion Fiorentino, in the Tuscan countryside, and his work is deeply rooted in the artistic heritage of Italy. A pivotal moment came when he encountered Masaccio’s The Trinity in Florence, inspiring him to pursue sculpture under the guidance of renowned artist Enzo Scatragli. In 1991, Roggi established his own studio and foundry, enabling him to oversee every stage of creation.
Working in bronze using the traditional lost wax casting process, Roggi combines classical discipline with a distinctive contemporary voice. His sculptures are celebrated internationally for their refinement, symbolism and emotional resonance. Alongside his artistic practice, he has dedicated himself to cultural education through initiatives such as the Art for Youth movement and the Parco della Creatività. Roggi’s work is held in collections and exhibited worldwide, reflecting a lifelong commitment to beauty, meaning and human connection.
