As featured on Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston & Amanda Holden, we recently ran a very special auction to raise funds for Global’s Make Some Noise charity. Portraits of Jamie and Amanda, by ‘terrible’ British artists Jamie Lee Matthias, were bid on by eager art fans, with Jamie’s portrait winning with a closing bid of £2,400 and Amanda’s coming in a close second, closing at £2,250.
That’s a wonderful £4,650 raised, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the charity!
To show our appreciation for Global's Make Some Noise and the vital work that they do we have decided to match this amount, meaning that the grand total raised for the charity is an impressive £9,300.
