6th December 2024 I 3-5 Minute read
In November, Clarendon Fine Art and internationally renowned artist Bradley Theodore hosted an exclusive launch of his new exhibition at Clarendon Fine Art Mayfair.
This spectacular solo show, and the rapturous response to it, served as a fitting welcome to Theodore, who is new to the Clarendon portfolio and already proving to be a big hit with collectors.
On 29th August 2024, these paintings travelled into space with astronaut Nicolina Elrick aboard Blue Origin NS26.
Nicolina became Singapore’s first representative and Scotland’s first woman in space on this historic flight, which reached 345,961 feet and 2,383mph.
A true global force in contemporary art, Theodore is an artist whose work seamlessly blends high fashion, history, and street culture into something uniquely his own. Hugely influential, he has collaborated with high end brands including Rolls Royce, had work commissioned by New York Fashion Week and Coachella, and is in high demand across Europe and the USA.
The exclusive preview event allowed guests to enjoy his collection of vibrant original works and meet the artist in person. On the evening guests also enjoyed a live painting demonstration, during which the artist worked on a self-portrait, and a Q&A session led by Rachel Simkiss, Director of Brand and Partnerships for Clarendon Fine Art. Other highlights included music from a live DJ and drinks from our cocktail bar, served by bar tenders whose faces were painted in in the colourful style of the artist. Truly a night to remember!
