Artwork Description:
Size:27 x 33 in

Discover the captivating allure of 'Far Horizons II', a limited edition artwork by Barry Hilton, gracefully framed in a wooden Cream Step w/ Gold frame and measuring an impressive 27 x 33 inches. This piece invites viewers into a dramatic landscape that masterfully balances the tranquil beauty of nature with the impending intensity of change.

The painting presents a striking scene where a vibrant red field captures the immediate focus—its brightness reminiscent of poppies or other fiery blooms stretching across the foreground. A meandering path weaves through this sea of color, flanked on either side by solitary trees standing against time. In contrast, the middle distance reveals a darkened silhouette of trees or bushes, marking the boundary between earth and sky.

Above this vivid tableau looms an expansive sky dominated by stormy clouds painted in shades from deep slate to misty silver-blue, their tumultuous forms broken only by a sliver of light that promises clearer skies or perhaps signals an approaching tempest.

Barry Hilton's palette skillfully ranges from dusky charcoal greys and silvery blues to intense crimson reds and rustic browns—each hue thoughtfully chosen to evoke emotion and create atmosphere within this evocative landscape.

'Far Horizons II' is more than just visual art; it's an exploration into the contrasting states of calmness and turmoil, crafted by one of Britain’s most cherished artists. Perfect for those who appreciate landscapes imbued with depth, moodiness, and vibrant color contrasts—it's sure to become a focal point in any collection that values both beauty and narrative depth.
