With a penchant for experimentation, Ellis combines oils, spray paints, and charcoal to create truly unique large-scale pieces that contrast darker tones with vivid brights. Taking inspiration from such greats as Francis Bacon and Lucian Freud and mixing them with his own imaginative style and wit, Lee creates original works that blend the macabre and the kitsch to striking effect.
