MICHAEL TALBOT
Michael Talbot`s meticulously crafted bronze sculpture is inspired by the human figure and what he calls its choreography of form, tension, and balance. His poetic, almost romantic approach together with his exquisite skills renders each work individual, intricate and beautiful.
“Sculpture for me is an attempt to show and illuminate a chosen moment in time. I like to give my sculptures choreography of form, tension and balance, to lead the eye and capture a moment in time”.

Talbot was awarded a scholarship at the Royal Academy of Arts, where he won the Landseer prize in 1983. After studying sculpture under Colin Melbourne and Dame Elizabeth Frink he was elected a member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors and the National Sculpture Society (USA).
