We are pleased to introduce a collection of newly acquired original drawings, lithographs and limited edition prints from L.S. Lowry, featuring some of the artist’s best-known themes and subjects.

Lowry is best known for his distinctive portrayals of the industrial north, inhabited by milling crowds of ‘matchstick men’, smoking chimneys, and imposing factories. His overpopulated cityscapes and bleakly humorous depictions of everyday life have made him one of the most recognisable and celebrated artists of the twentieth century.
