A Private View of Wild Life Exhibition

Clarendon Fine Art is pleased to announce the opening of “Wild Life” an exhibition of contemporary paintings, prints and sculpture inspired by the animal kingdom, on view at 46 Dover Street from May 25th – 10th June. The exhibition will open with a private view on Thursday 25th May, 6pm - 8pm. To reserve your place on the guestlist please contact the gallery 020 7499 0947.

From the images of bulls painted on the cave interiors at Lascaux to Leonardo da Vinci’s Lady with an Ermine, and from Durer’s Young Hare to Pablo Picasso’s doves, animals have always held an important place in the making of art. Animals have become the focus of much recent art, informing numerous works and projects featured at major exhibitions including the 10th Shanghai Biennale (2014), and the 56th Venice Biennale (2015). “Wild Life” will include young and established artists from the UK and internationally working across painting, printmaking and sculpture. We look forward to welcoming you into the wild!
